6th April 2023. The Isle of Man’s Beer and Cider Festival opened at the Villa Marina this afternoon. A donation from each pint of AIRBORNE sold will be given to the Billy Redmayne Memorial Fund.
Manxman Billy Redmayne was a paratrooper under Lieutenant Governor Sir John Lorimer’s command during three tours in Afghanistan, and a Manx Grand Prix winner.
He died in a motorcycle race in Scarborough at the age of 25.
